Our camping ground is located on a sunny hill at the foot of the Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in the centre of Portugal , one hour north west of Coimbra , 15 minutes from Seia and Oliveira do Hopital, at the edge of the village – Varzea de Meruge.

We are situated on 12 ha of forests and former farming lands, ensuring you privacy and giving amazing views of the surrounding Portuguese mountain villages. The area is ideal for naturists. We have many idyllically located camping sites and additionally we offer a number of well appointed caravans for daily or weekly hire.

You can enjoy many activities, whilst you stay with us. If you are actively inclined you can make many day trips or take beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside. In the immediate area you can visit Fatima the renowned catholic sanctuary and sacred healing place, the oldest European university in Coimbra ,   have a day at the beach, such as Figueira or a drive to the mountains and visit the typical mountain villages like Piodão. If you want to relax our large swimming pool, allows you to laze away the day and have quick dips to cool down.

The surrounding area is a paradise for walkers, with numerous well marked and well known tracks in the forests and through the surrounding villages where the real Portuguese peasant life can be experienced .Enjoy our village cafe where you can have a coffee or a drink with the locals.
